Friendly and supportive English language tutor

Hello, I have been teaching English online since December 2023 and very much enjoy helping people from different cultures to improve their confidence and ability in English.

I hold a 140-hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification, specialising in online teaching. I also have a BA degree in English from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Poetry from the University of East Anglia.

I am a qualified journalist and, for the past 30 years, have partnered with businesses to help them communicate. I write poetry for fun.

I live in southern England with my husband and our whippet, Daisy. I love walking in nature, gardening, collecting vintage objects and going to music concerts. I have been a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen for more than 40 years! I love meeting people from different cultures. I am still in touch with American, Australian and Italian friends that I met while abroad, 20 to 40 years ago.
