I have got into the Olympiad when I was in year 6 for UKMT junior and I got into Olympiad in year 8 for the UKMT intermediate. I have always gotten over 95% on a normal school test and have my own hacks to solving questions and know the frustration of not understanding a question when a teacher is not explain it clearly.
