Experienced Chemistry Tutor | Highers, GCSE & A-Level | Master's Student

I am an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Chemistry tutor offering tailored tuition for GCSE, A-Level and Scottish Highers students. I am currently completing an integrated MChem degree, having achieved A grades in Scottish Higher Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

With a strong academic background and a genuine passion for chemistry, I aim to help students build confidence and deepen their understanding to achieve their academic goals.

I am confident teaching across the Highers, Edexcel, AQA and International GCSE (iGCSE) specifications, and can adapt lessons to suit each student's individual needs. Whether you are looking to strengthen foundational knowledge, tackle challenging concepts or improve exam technique, I will tailor our sessions to help you make progress.

Through my university studies and the achievement of a first-class dissertation, I have developed strong analytical skills and a detailed understanding of chemical principles. I aim to make complex topics accessible through clear explanations, structured lessons and plenty of exam-style practice.

My teaching approach is patient and supportive; helping students understand the reasoning behind chemistry, rather than simply memorising facts. I encourage students to ask questions, work through problems independently and develop the confidence to tackle unfamiliar exam questions.
