Hi! I’m Zoe, a passionate art teacher who ran my own children’s art classroom in Hong Kong for several years. With a strong foundation in Visual Art and years of hands-on teaching experience, I combine technical knowledge with a genuine passion for helping children discover the joy of creating.
My lessons are fun, friendly and very well-structured. I use clear step-by-step guidance so every child feels successful from the very first lesson. We start with simple shapes and basic techniques, then gradually build up skills in drawing, painting, colour mixing and creative expression. Each lesson is carefully designed to build confidence step by step – whether we are learning to hold a pencil correctly, exploring how colours interact, or creating our first imaginative scenes. I introduce new ideas in small, manageable chunks so children never feel overwhelmed and always leave with a sense of achievement.
The atmosphere is relaxed and encouraging – I love seeing children laugh, experiment and become really proud of their own artwork! Whether your child is a complete beginner or already enjoys drawing, I tailor each lesson to their age and ability level. I pay close attention to each child’s personality and interests, adjusting my teaching style to suit shy learners who need extra encouragement as well as energetic ones who love bold, expressive mark-making. My goal is to make every child feel seen, supported and excited to create.
With my background in Visual Art and experience teaching young learners, my goal is simple: help children build confidence, develop their creativity, and most importantly, have lots of fun while learning! Art is a wonderful way for children to express their feelings, develop problem-solving skills and build concentration – all while having a brilliant time. I provide a safe, non-judgemental space where mistakes are celebrated as part of the learning process. I am truly passionate about nurturing the next generation of creative thinkers and can’t wait to inspire your child through the wonderful world of art!
