I would start by getting to know the student and understanding their individual strengths, weaknesses and learning style. Maybe by conducting an assessment or finding a way to assess what they do and don’t know as well !

I would then adapt my approach to suit them, using clear explanations, examples, questions and activities to keep them engaged. Maybe by using visual models .

I would break more difficult topics into smaller, manageable steps and regularly check their understanding. Maybe by creating pneumonics for them to use

Most importantly, I would create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, while helping them build both their knowledge and confidence, ensuring they don’t feel sad or confused at any point during the lesson
