My lessons are structured, engaging, and fully tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. I begin every new student relationship with a short assessment to understand their current level, strengths, and areas where they need the most support — so every lesson has a clear purpose from day one.

In terms of format, I use a mix of clear explanation, worked examples, and guided practice. I never just show students how to solve a problem — I make sure they understand the "why" behind each step, which builds real confidence and long-term understanding rather than just memorising methods.

For younger students (KS2/KS3), I focus on making maths fun and accessible, using visual aids and real-life examples to bring numbers to life. For GCSE and A-level students, I focus on exam technique, past paper practice, and breaking down complex topics such as algebra, calculus, statistics, and mechanics into manageable steps.

With a background in Artificial Intelligence and over 14 years of experience applying mathematical and analytical thinking professionally, I bring a practical, real-world perspective to maths that helps students see its value beyond the classroom.
