My lessons are structured but flexible, adapting to what each student needs on the day. We start by identifying exactly where understanding breaks down, then work through concepts step by step using real examples. I focus heavily on the 'why' behind each method once you understand the logic, the maths becomes intuitive rather than something to memorise. Sessions are interactive and conversational, not just me talking at you. I'll regularly check understanding by asking you to explain concepts back, because being able to teach something yourself is the clearest sign you've actually learned it. Outside of sessions I can recommend practice resources and provide notes so progress continues between lessons."
