Why choose me?

Hi! I am an A level student currently studying Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. As a current student, and recent GCSE student, I hold experience that many adult tutors do not possess. I understand the intense workload of GCSE science, and I would love to help you succeed!
Knowing the specification and mark-scheme allows me to tailor your learning specifically for your exam board. Having completed a multitude of past exam papers, I know the most common questions, as well as the perfect structure and key terms to answer Biology questions.
As a passionate and determined tutor, I will personalise my teaching style completely to your standards of learning. Having studied Psychology, I believe that I hold a unique insight into the brain, thus allowing me to use efficient methods of teaching.

How will your lessons be structured?

Usually, I would start with your homework from the previous week, which I would mark while you answer recall questions on the topic you have been studying. If you have any misconceptions or questions you would like to discuss, we can go through them to ensure you have complete understanding of the subject. Then we would move onto the bulk of the lesson, which would include learning a new subtopic, e.g. ‘The eye’, which I would give you questions on to answer. Whether you are a visual learner or a hands on learner, I would personalise this experience for you to ensure you are making the most out of our sessions together!
