I am a pharmacy student with a strong passion for science and helping students feel more confident in their learning. I achieved an A (9) in both A-level Biology and GCSE Biology*, and I have experience tutoring GCSE Biology and Physics. I understand that science can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when topics sound complicated, but my goal is to help students realise that it can actually be interesting, logical, and even enjoyable.
Every student learns differently, so I always adapt my teaching style to the student in front of me. I take the time to sit with each student and explain topics clearly and patiently, making sure they truly understand rather than just memorise information. I love explaining concepts through stories, examples, and real-life connections, because it helps students see how biology works in the real world and makes lessons much more engaging.
I pride myself on being a very patient and supportive tutor. I never judge a student for not understanding something, and I am always happy to repeat explanations as many times as needed until everything feels clear. My lessons are designed to be interactive, relaxed, and encouraging, so students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas.
If a student struggles with focus, I make lessons as engaging and interactive as possible. If they are a visual learner, I create diagrams and drawings to help bring the topic to life. I also share useful resources such as notes, videos, and practice materials so students can continue building their understanding outside of lessons.
As a student myself studying pharmacy, I truly understand how difficult it can feel when there is a lot of content to learn in a short amount of time. I also understand procrastination, exam stress, and the pressure students often feel. Because of this, I aim to support students not only academically but also by helping them build confidence and reduce anxiety around learning.
Together, we will set clear goals and objectives so that progress feels achievable and motivating. My aim is not just to improve grades, but to help students feel proud of their progress, confident in their abilities, and comfortable with science.
