In my lessons, I will provide some activity to my students as well as I feels bored in my university class when it is just listening to the lectures. By mixing with some movement or interaction, I can make sure they are really focused on what I am doing and they can learn effectively compared to just reading the textbooks. Also, I can provide some extra exercises or notes for the students if they needed. I used to teach in a 20 students class and they were very happy to attend my class. I am not encouraging punishment or scolding anyone in my lessons. Of course that’s not mean you can do what you want!! If there are any problems with the lesson, I will ask for the reasons and if it is reasonable to do that, I will try to help. However, if I think it is quite suspicious I may need to increase the workload of the exercise instead of scolding. As I think balance is really significant so if you missed something I will need you to follow my pace and see if the students are still on the same pathway as I. I came from Hong Kong actually, so if there is a chance I could get some local snacks to my students as a rewards. The food in Hong Kong is totally taste different and varies!! I hope everyone can enjoy and learn from my lessons. The best thing is to learn in a stressless environment!!
