Yan Wing Chan

I am a Maths tutor with over 4,000 hours of tutoring experience, working with students from both the UK and Hong Kong education systems. I hold a BSc in Physics and am DBS checked.
I focus on building strong conceptual understanding by identifying foundational weaknesses and helping students become confident problem-solvers. I have guided many struggling students to significant grade improvements, and I also have experience covering Maths lessons in a local primary school.
After each lesson, I provide recaps and optional follow-up exercises to reinforce learning and support steady progress between sessions.
