Rather than focusing only on textbooks and memorisation, I like to use real-life situations and meaningful conversations to help students build confidence in Mandarin naturally. Depending on your level and interests, we might talk about travel, food, daily life, culture, hobbies, current events, or anything else that keeps you engaged and motivated.
For children, I often incorporate games, stories, creative activities, and age-appropriate discussions to make learning enjoyable and interactive. My background as a primary and special education teacher helps me adapt lessons to different learning styles and needs.
For adults, lessons can range from casual conversation practice to structured support with pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, and everyday communication. Whether you're preparing for a trip, connecting with family, exploring Taiwanese culture, or simply learning for personal interest, I will adjust the pace and content to suit you.
My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where mistakes are welcomed, curiosity is encouraged, and language becomes part of real life rather than just something studied in a book.
