William Chittenden

I am a keen language learner studying French, German and Spanish at the University of Exeter. Having also lived and studied in France for over six years I am a native level French speaker and a five star rated tutor on . I strive to share my passion and knowledge of the French language with my students through well organised, fun and engaging lessons in which I help them with Grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing skills as well as speaking and listening.

I plan my lessons diligently for each individual student so that I can help them to progress and develop their skills at their own pace. My lesson plans are typed up onto a document which I share with my students and use throughout the lessons as visual guidance for them. I like to split my lessons into shorter, more manageable sections such as grammar, vocabulary and speaking practice. This method has proven to be very effective for learning and retaining the skills developed throughout the lessons. Most importantly, I aim to deliver effective and enjoyable lessons for my students in which they can learn, have fun and grow into confidant French speakers.
