When teaching languages its important to understand the students ability before formatting lessons, therefore, all of my lessons would be tailored to the subject areas that each student feels less comfortable with. That being said, grammar and vocabulary are two of the basics that every student studying GCSE needs. There will be a large focus on the different ways to help students learn relevant subject vocabulary and grammar needed for GCSE French. I will provide tips and tricks into impressing oral examiners and examiners marking written work that will help boost your grade as well as helping students show off their ability in the writing section of their exam. I do firmly believe that with a good understanding of grammar and relevant subject vocabulary (as well as practice) students would find it much easier to stand out amongst the crowd in their oral and written exams. Listening and reading may require looking into some different ways to help students understand both written and spoken French, although, from my own experience, lots of practice, time spent learning vocabulary, and time spent listening and getting to grips with spoken French may help students excel in these areas.
