I am a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant with years of classroom experience and a parent of two. My lessons are designed to be the highlight of a child’s week—dynamic, encouraging, and perfectly tailored to how young minds actually learn.
My Approach: "Confidence First"
I use a "Scaffolded" format (I Do, We Do, You Do). I begin by modeling a concept clearly, we practice it together through interactive activities, and finally, the student takes the lead once they feel secure. This ensures no child ever feels "stuck" or overwhelmed.
Lesson Dynamics
Forget dry worksheets! My lessons are multisensory and high-energy. Depending on the goal, we might use:
• Visual Aids & Props: From phonics "sound buttons" to math manipulatives.
• Gamified Learning: Turning boring drills into "beat the clock" challenges.
• Curriculum Alignment: I use the exact methods and terminology used in modern UK classrooms to ensure consistency with their schoolwork.
Who I Teach
I specialize in School Readiness for preschoolers and Core Support (Literacy/Maths) for KS1 and KS2 students. Having worked extensively with diverse learning needs, including ADHD and Autism, I am expert at adapting my pace to suit the "mood of the day."
