Vishay Jeetoo

I’m Vishay, a third year medical student at Queen Mary’s University of London with over four years of tutoring experience. I teach GCSE and A-level sciences and maths, 11+ preparation, and UCAT support. My lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student - whether that means simplifying tricky concepts, strengthening exam technique, or boosting confidence. I’ve helped students secure top grades (A*/A and 8/9s), and I’m committed to helping every learner achieve their goals while making learning enjoyable.

My tutoring style is interactive, patient, and tailored to each student’s needs. I start by identifying their strengths and areas for improvement, then break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps. I make lessons engaging by using an online whiteboard and interactive resources to visualise concepts clearly. I also focus on building exam technique and confidence, encouraging students to think critically and apply their knowledge, rather than just memorising. Above all, I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to reach their full potential.
