Maths clicks when you understand why it works, not just how to copy the steps. That is the heart of every lesson I teach.

I'm Victor, a Physics graduate and data consultant. I use maths every day, from geometry and statistics to logarithms. I have trained more than 200 professionals and taught complete beginners, so I know how to turn a topic that feels impossible into small pieces you can actually follow. I teach online from Nigeria, which is at most an hour ahead of the UK, so evening and weekend lessons are easy to arrange.

How I teach:

• We find the gap first. A short diagnostic in lesson one shows exactly where things stopped making sense, so we fix the real problem instead of repeating what you already know.
• I break every term into pieces. Words like "coefficient", "logarithm" or "standard deviation" sound scary until you see what they literally mean. I explain the language first, then the method.
• You are always involved. I explain one step, you try the next while I watch, and then you explain it back to me in your own words. We don't move on until it clicks.
• Real life, not just textbooks. Every idea is tied to money, sport, travel or the news, so the numbers mean something.
• Visible progress. Each lesson ends with a few exam-style questions and a short recap, so you leave knowing what you can do now that you couldn't before.

Real problems we solve together:

• Geometry: how much paint or flooring does a room need, and how tall is a building from the length of its shadow?
• Statistics: is that chart in the news honest, and what are the real odds?
• Logarithms: how compound interest on savings or a loan grows, and why earthquakes and sound are measured on log scales.
• Percentages and algebra: is "30% off" better than "buy one, get one half price"?

I cover algebra, geometry and trigonometry, statistics and probability, logarithms and calculus, from KS3 and GCSE to A-Level and first-year university.

You can expect patience, zero judgement for any question, honest feedback and explanations without jargon. If a method doesn't work for you, I change the method, not you. My goal is simple: you understand each concept well enough to explain it yourself, because that is what carries you through the exam.

Message me with your topic, your exam date and your goal, and I'll tell you exactly how I would plan it.
