Hi, I'm Varvara, nice to meet you! If you're looking for an online/in person tutor to help with math, physics, chemistry, biology or English, you've come to the right place :). My 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience strengthened my patience, presentation and communication skills allowing me to tailor lessons individually for each student. Making sure you understand these subjects well and enjoy learning new things is my top priority!

I usually start my math and science lessons with a detailed explanation of whatever topic I'm covering that lesson. The student will then be asked to summarize and explain what I taught them back to me to make sure they fully understand the material, followed by lots of practice questions that we will go through together. I may assign homework, but not too much, especially for GCSE and A-Level students. At this point they must develop self-discipline and accountability to practice more on their own time, which I will keep them accountable for. I will not only provide tailored notes for my students but also teach them how to take their own notes efficiently, so even if the lessons stop they will carry those skills to graduation. My duty is to prepare these kids to excel on their own, and I do a great job at that.

My English lessons will be tailored on a more individual basis, according to the student's age, proficiency and goals. This course is more suited for KS1 KS2 and KS3 and GCSE students, so if you are looking for 6 form tutors I advise you to consider other options.
