Advert description
I’m a mathematics and engineering educator with a PhD and four years of experience teaching in higher education, but more importantly, I’m someone who genuinely enjoys helping students make sense of challenging ideas. For me, teaching is about more than delivering content; it’s about guiding students through those “aha” moments when a difficult concept suddenly clicks.
My background in engineering and mathematical modelling shapes the way I teach: I like to break things down, connect theory to real-world examples, and create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. Over the past two years, I’ve had the chance to work with diverse groups of learners, and I’ve learned how much it matters to be approachable, patient, and truly invested in their progress.
What motivates me most is seeing students grow in confidence. Whether we’re tackling complex equations or building practical engineering systems, I aim to make the learning experience engaging, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable. Teaching isn’t just part of my job; it’s something I care deeply about, and I’m proud to help students develop the skills and curiosity they’ll carry into their careers.
