My lessons are structured, supportive and deeply human. I begin by understanding each student as a whole person, not just their grades or deadlines, but how they’re feeling, what’s motivating them, and where they might be stuck. Academic challenges are often connected to confidence, stress or self-doubt. By listening carefully and reading between the lines, I identify what a student truly needs, both practically and emotionally, to make real progress.
Sessions are personalised and goal-oriented. We might build time management systems, break assignments into manageable steps, strengthen revision strategies or develop tools for managing exam stress. Alongside practical study skills, I teach mindset and habit techniques that help learning translate into everyday life.
I incorporate playfulness in subtle, age-appropriate ways with all students. When learning feels safe and even enjoyable, the brain associates new skills with positive emotion, making them more likely to stick. That sense of lightness reduces pressure and builds confidence while maintaining structure and focus.
I bring 10 years’ experience supporting young people, alongside accredited coaching training and safeguarding experience. I create a calm, encouraging space where students feel understood, capable and gently challenged. When students feel seen and supported, they engage more fully, and that is when lasting growth happens.
