Aspiring musician graduated with a Bachelor of Hons degree in Piano from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. Passionate about furthering her studies in music to enhance her music knowledge and hope for a chance to make a meaningful impact through music. Currently pursuing a master degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

Born in Hong Kong , Cheuk Yee Ulani Lo started playing the piano at the age of four . She was selected for the Young Pianist Programme at HK GMC Music at 5 years old studying under the guidance of Principal Rizzo Chung and Ms M.T. Wong , and she has been the winner of many local competitions and prizes since. Including finalists of the Hong Kong Music Festival piano open class , winner of the international fringe music festival Virtuoso Pianist Class , and competition winner of Hong Kong International Musicians & Arts Association Junior B and Sonata class , shortlisted candidates of The 3rd Zhuhai international Mozart competition for Young musicians , Winner of the fourth SIYPC sonata class and The Asia pacific outstanding youth piano competition youth professional class . Since 2021, she has been studying with Dr Mary Wu at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts . She has also participated in different masterclasses and been taught by world-known pianists and professors. She joined the Edward Auer Piano workshop at the Indiana Bloomington University in 2023 and the Pianale Piano Festival in 2024 .


Ulani has also been invited to do several interviews and performances on RTHK radio 4 , and participated in the recording of ‘In tune with Hk Classic Moments on Radio 4’ . She was also the finalist of the SCMP student of the year 2021 and a guest performer at the Charitable Oxfam Music Marathon Opening Ceremony 2022, aiming to cultivate interest in classical music among the general public. In 2024 , she was also invited to perform at the Musica del Cuore at the concert ‘Mary Wu and Piano Friends’ with pianists Mary Wu and Helen Cha . She has been awarded several scholarship from school , such as The White Ink Box scholarship and The Eleanor Wong scholarship.
