Clarity: I break complex ideas into simple, visual steps. We’ll use diagrams, animations, and real-life analogies — think “mitochondria as power plants” but taken deeper so it sticks for exams.
2. Connection: Biology isn’t memorisation. I constantly link topics together: how DNA replication errors relate to cancer, how photosynthesis and respiration are two sides of the same coin. This builds real understanding, not just recall.
3. Confidence: Every session includes active recall and past-paper practice. My goal is that you leave each class able to teach the concept back to me. That’s when I know it’s locked in.
I’m very comfortable with online tools: Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards like Miro/OneNote, and platforms like Kahoot or Quizizz for quick checks. I tailor every lesson to the student’s syllabus — whether it’s IB, AP, A-Level, FSc, or university courses — and I provide practice questions after class.
