Hello there, I'm Trisha!

I'm a CELTA-certified English teacher who was born and raised in Dubai, and I've had the opportunity to study, work, and teach in several different countries. Those experiences have shaped the way I teach—they've shown me that every learner has a different story, and no two lessons should ever feel exactly the same.

Before becoming a full-time English teacher, I worked in customer relations in the UK, where clear communication, empathy, and building trust were part of my everyday job. Those skills naturally found their way into my classroom. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating the small wins that eventually become big improvements.

My lessons are practical, engaging, and built around you. If you're preparing for IELTS, working towards an exam, improving your professional English, or simply looking to speak more naturally, I'll adapt each lesson to your goals, interests, and learning style. I enjoy using authentic materials, real conversations, and topics that matter to you, because that's how language becomes memorable and useful.

I've taught learners from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and one of my favourite parts of teaching is watching students become more confident over time. Seeing someone who once hesitated to speak start expressing themselves freely is incredibly rewarding.

Outside of teaching, I'm naturally curious—I have a background in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, I enjoy learning about people and cultures, and I genuinely love meaningful conversations. I think that curiosity helps me connect with students and keeps lessons interesting.
