Trish Jamu

Hi! I’m Trish, an enthusiastic and patient English tutor who enjoys helping students become more confident in using English in real-life situations.

My lessons are relaxed, interactive, and adapted to your individual goals and level. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, or simply feel more comfortable speaking, I’ll create lessons around what you need most.

I believe that learning a language should feel practical and enjoyable, not intimidating. During our lessons, we can use conversations, questions, role-plays, everyday situations, reading materials, and engaging activities to help you practise naturally. I also encourage students to speak as much as possible, while providing gentle corrections and clear explanations when needed.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement Management and Leadership, which has strengthened my communication, research, analytical, and interpersonal skills. My academic background has also required me to communicate ideas clearly and work with people from different backgrounds.

I’m especially happy to work with beginners and students who may feel nervous about speaking English. There is no pressure to be perfect in my classroom, mistakes are a normal and important part of learning.

My goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling that they have learned something useful and are a little more confident than when they started.

I also offer personalized feedback after lessons so you know exactly what to practice and how to continue improving between classes.
