I have previous experience in tutoring GCSE subjects and have worked with a variety of students at different levels. I like for an interactive and casual method as this can help make the student feel more comfortable with me and focus on the subject at hand.

Removing the tense atmosphere also allows students to give me feedback too on what they like or dislike about my teaching approach and what they prefer me to do instead. This helps both sides cater their methods towards each other to create a more efficient and productive lesson each time.

I also like to try and use the exam boards past papers and questions to get the student comfortable with the style and types of questions which will come up in their future exams and so they aren’t surprised or shocked on test day and easily understand the exam boards wording of the questions. I think of myself as a more comfortable personality which can help a many different students.

I have also recently went thru gone thru the GCSE system and am familiar with the recent curriculum and changes in the exam boards and I think this is extremely important to keep up with for the sake of the students progress.
