GCSE and A-level Maths Tutor with 10 years experience

I am an experienced Maths tutor who has been tutoring GCSE and A-Level students for 10 years now. I have a first class Masters in Aerospace Engineering from Queen Mary, Uni of London and have worked as an engineer for some of the biggest aerospace companies.

My Student's successes:
My previous students have gone to do well in Maths and get into prestigious UK universities for their Maths, Engineering, and Finance degrees.

My Teaching Style:
I tailor my teaching style to the individual student and aim to illicit curiosity, inspire, and encourage students to unlock their potential. My lessons focus on making sure fundamental concepts are clear, and provide tips and strategies for acing in exams.

I provide 'homework' practice questions to test understanding and target weaknesses, provide regular progress updates to the parents, and provide additional student support over email /text as required to complete school assignments, etc. This is all included in my price.

I am also DBS checked -- a copy can be provided if needed.

Typical lesson:
Interactive problem and applications based lessons -- I won't bore the students with just sitting there and provide info. I get them involved by asking and answering questions, and make it as interactive as possible and link the topic to their real-life applications to make things interesting!

PS: A lot of my students tend to be at the stage where they are looking to choose Uni courses and careers -- I regularly provide career guidance to my students, especially if they're interested in STEM related fields. I've been there myself, so have first-hand experience with the system!
