Advert description
Hello! I am Mathematically adept teacher, who is excellent in both subject knowledge and with teaching. I completed my first Maths GCSE at age 12, achieving an A. I later achieved an A* in Maths and Further Maths at A-level, and went on to study Mathematics at Warwick.
I have experience of teaching Mathematics in London schools, from Key Stage 3 and 4 to 5, so rest assured you are in safe hands for your own GCSE's. I have good experience of working with Edexcel, however, I am able to teach to any exam board.
Whether you are struggling with Maths or want more of a challenge, to push yourself to an 8 or a 9, I will be able to support you. I completed my PGCE from Sussex, and achieved a Distinction. Whilst teaching, I utilise modern teaching methods (pedagogy) in my lessons, and am a strong believer in good character and work ethic.
During sessions, you can expect the teaching of Mathematical concepts, practice of those concepts led by demonstration, and plenty of chances for questions! Success in Maths is based on lots of practice, and this will be included, partly, in sessions, but largely in-between them.
Thank you for reading, and I look forward to working with you!
