My tutoring is selective and unique to each student. I can meet students at the very beginning of their law journeys, all the way through to final year law students trying to find ways to get a couple extra points on their grades.

I like to start of getting to know you, where you're at in your legal journey and what areas, if any, you think you need the most help in.

My educational background is an LLB 1st Class, I'm currently doing an LLM and I passed the SQE1 and am gearing up for SQE2 so my practice knowledge is up to date and frequent. I also have worked in a variety of legally related roles, paid and unpaid, public and private.

My teaching style focuses on:

- Breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps
- Improving legal analysis and critical thinking
- Developing essay and problem-question technique
- Using examples and discussion to make legal principles easier to remember - each one underpinned by real case law, statutes or white paper sources
- Building confidence alongside subject knowledge

I do have a selection of preset presentations on a variety of topics, but my preferred method is 1-1 lessons, initially guided by fully analysing standard educational material (I try to match it to the materials used by your academic institution as they will be the one's marking your work), before exploring additional and more in-depth topics, filling in missing areas and supporting everything with real sources.

I am patient, approachable and adaptable, and I understand that different students learn in different ways. My goal is to help students not only improve academically, but also feel more confident and independent in their understanding of the law. Drop me a message and say Hi!
