What My Yoruba Lessons Are Like

My Yoruba lessons are friendly, patient, interactive, and designed to help learners build confidence in learning ,speaking and understanding Yoruba. I tailor each lesson to the learner’s age, level, goals, and learning pace.

Lessons may include everyday Yoruba vocabulary, greetings, useful expressions, pronunciation, sentence formation, conversations, reading, and cultural knowledge. I use practical examples and simple conversations to make learning enjoyable and easy to apply in real-life situations.

As an experienced teacher with several years of teaching experience both in primary and secondary School and a TEFL background, and also hold Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Management, l also have Montessori Diploma in Nursery Foundation.

I understand how to make lessons engaging and learner-centred. I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions, practise speaking, and learn from mistakes in a supportive environment.

My aim is not only to teach Yoruba but also to help students develop confidence and enjoy connecting with the Yoruba language and culture. Within few months of learning Yoruba with me, you are sure of speaking the language fluently.
