My name is Tom, I am a Design Engineer that has a year in industry working for a high profile supplier to BMW, JLR, AUDI, TESLA and many other amazing companies. I graduated in May 2023 so my educational knowledge is very, very fresh. I can provide a perfect mix of within curriculum knowledge teaching, and knowledge that is above and beyond the norm for project work at all ages. Most of all, I want to help you through your education and give you a head start in your career.

Due to the nature of the subject, I suggest students bring their portfolio or any questions they have from their current schooling. I will be able to assist your normal education. I am not a substitute for normal classes. I am here to subsidise your learning. I will utilise my professional experience and my knowledge on year 7 to year 13 Design Technology, Product Design and design Engineering to elevate your project work and your academic knowledge of the subject.

The first session I will clarify how you prefer to learn and then will tailor the sessions that precede it to optimise the sessions to ensure the cost of the tutoring is going towards the most efficient learning. This could include small design challenges, Theory work through interactive questions and monologues from myself or we can. go through current products and pull them to pieces and improve them! It is completely up to the student and what they think works for them. Within reason, of course.
