Hajnalka Gólya

Hi, I’m Hajnalka, a Product & Furniture Design MA student at Kingston School of Art, with a background in product and industrial design. I offer online Art and Design lessons for secondary school, GCSE, A-level and portfolio preparation students who are interested in product design, creative thinking and developing their own visual ideas.

My lessons are supportive, practical and personalised. I can help students with idea development, research, sketching, visual thinking, project structure, presentation layout and portfolio preparation. I especially enjoy helping students understand how a design project can grow from an initial idea into a clear, well-presented outcome.

When I was preparing for design studies, I attended drawing and design preparation classes that introduced me to the world of product design and helped me build my own portfolio. I would like to carry forward that same encouraging approach by helping students gain confidence, think more clearly about their work and present their ideas in a stronger way.

Depending on the student’s needs, lessons can include project feedback, sketching exercises, portfolio review, concept development, mood boards, visual research or presentation advice. My aim is to help students become more confident, curious and independent in their creative process.
