Tharmika Gopalakrishnan

Hi, I’m Tharmika a recent graduate from UCL finishing my postgraduate degree in Cancer MSc. Prior to this I completed my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry BSc in Imperial College London.

Having completed my GCSEs and A-levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry I have myself struggled to find a suitable way to learn and understand the topics and when answering questions. As a previous student I am well aware of the curriculum and have adopted my own study and exam techniques. My exam boards that I took for my subjects were Edexcel and A-level but I have experience of teaching the other exam boards.

I work by focusing on the students weak points, teaching them the topics as required and going through exam questions to help prepare them for exams. My lessons will help increase the students confidence in their subjects and for their exams. In my lessons I prioritise what the student requires most help with and any questions they have. Before the lesson I will prepare notes for the students before the lesson and provide extra resources if required. I know how stressful it can be to learn so many topics especially with all the subjects, so I will focus on what is necessary to be taught.
