My lessons are clear, structured, and fully personalised to each student’s learning style. I break down complex biology and zoology topics using visual explanations, step-by-step guidance, and real scientific examples from my degree and published work. Lessons usually begin with a quick check-in to identify what the student needs that day, followed by focused teaching using diagrams, graphical summaries, practice questions, or live problem-solving.

I draw on my experience in scientific writing, data analysis, and fieldwork to make topics engaging and easy to understand. I’m confident in my ability to support students with essays, revision, coursework, and exam preparation. Many students benefit from my visual teaching style; I often create quick sketches, flow charts, or graphical explanations to help ideas “click.” Additionally, I encourage questions and foster a collaborative environment in which students feel comfortable exploring concepts at their own pace, thereby ensuring a deeper understanding of the material.

My sessions are calm, friendly, and adaptable, especially helpful for students who benefit from clear structure or alternative learning approaches. I encourage questions, build confidence through supportive feedback, and help students develop strong study habits, scientific thinking, and long-term academic independence. Additionally, I incorporate real examples from ecology, conservation, and marine biology to make lessons feel relevant and inspiring. Over time, students gain not only knowledge but a deeper curiosity for the natural world. Moreover, I help students practise active recall, spaced repetition, and exam-focused strategies to strengthen their understanding, boost performance, and prepare them for future challenges. Through this process, we cultivate a love for learning and the sciences.
