I am passionate about teaching and genuinely enjoy helping students develop their confidence, knowledge and enjoyment of learning. I believe every child has the potential to succeed when they receive the right support, encouragement and opportunities to learn in a way that suits their individual needs.

Over the past two years, I have specialised in providing one-to-one tuition in students' homes, working with children and young people with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This has enabled me to develop a patient, flexible and highly personalised approach, tailoring each lesson to suit individual learning styles, abilities and educational goals. Building positive relationships with both students and their families is central to my teaching, and I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where learners feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes and grow in confidence.

As both a tutor and a parent, I understand first-hand the difference that regular one-to-one tuition can make. Having supported my own children through their education and worked alongside tutors in the past, I have seen how personalised teaching can transform a student's confidence, motivation and academic achievement.

I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Zoology, a TEFL qualification, and I am currently undertaking a Master's degree in Education. Before becoming a tutor, I successfully ran my own IT marketing company, developing excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills that continue to benefit my teaching practice.

I currently tutor all three sciences to GCSE level, Biology to A-level, as well as GCSE Business Studies and Geography. My teaching style is relaxed, engaging and student-centred. I believe that students learn most effectively when they feel happy, motivated and interested, so I aim to make every lesson enjoyable, interactive and purposeful while maintaining high expectations.

I am empathetic, patient and an attentive listener, and I take pride in adapting my teaching to meet the unique needs of every learner. Whether supporting a young person with SEND, helping a student regain confidence after time away from education, or enabling learners to achieve their academic potential, my goal is always the same: to ensure every student feels supported, valued and empowered to succeed.
