Hello, I am a Psychology graduate with over four years of experience working with children in educational and supportive roles. This has helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. I have always enjoyed psychology, particularly understanding how people learn and process information. I bring this into my tutoring in a practical way, helping students break down topics so they feel clearer and easier to remember. During my own studies, I relied heavily on past papers to develop my exam technique and test my knowledge. Studying Psychology at IB level and at university also helped me build effective revision strategies, such as active recall and spaced repetition, which I now share with my students. I have delivered over 80 lessons and have supported a range of learners, which has helped me develop a flexible and engaging teaching style. Alongside tutoring, I currently work as an Assistant Psychologist within mental health services, which continues to build on my understanding of how people think and learn in real-world settings. My tutoring approach is tailored to each student, as everyone learns differently. I focus on improving exam technique, using practice questions to identify gaps in understanding, and building confidence in areas students find challenging. I aim to create a comfortable and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making steady progress.
