I have strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills developed through university study, teamwork, and mentoring experiences. As a Chemistry undergraduate, I am confident explaining complex ideas in a clear, simple, and engaging way. I am patient, adaptable, and comfortable working with learners from different backgrounds, age groups, and levels of English ability. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence in their English skills.
I would teach through supportive and interactive lessons tailored to each student’s goals, learning style, and pace. My lessons would focus on developing confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through conversation practice, vocabulary building, pronunciation support, grammar activities, and practical everyday English tasks in a relaxed and positive environment.
The lessons will generally follow this structure:
- Warm-Up & Review (5–10 mins) – Short conversation, speaking practice, confidence-building activities, or review of previous material.
- Lesson Focus (10 mins) – Introduce a new topic such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, or speaking skills using clear explanations and examples.
- Guided Practice (15–20 mins) – Interactive activities including conversations, exercises, reading tasks, roleplay, quizzes, or games depending on the student’s age and level.
- Independent Practice (10–15 mins) – Student applies the skill more independently through speaking, writing, comprehension, or real-life practice tasks.
- Review & Feedback (5 mins) – Recap key points, discuss progress, answer questions, and set optional practice or homework tasks.
