I know how difficult it can be to find a reliable teacher that focuses on One-to-One Lessons. Teachers need to be able to motivate and guide students to success. As an experienced Maths Tutor and Maths teacher in classroom, I can quickly identify students’ problem areas and work with them in positive, constructive ways to achieve success. I design my lessons according to my students’ needs, with an emphasis on confidence-boosting activities.

During my lessons, I listen closely to the student's voice to ensure they understand the underlying methods, not just individual problems. Since exam questions vary, I teach students how to think critically, link topics, and apply prior knowledge to new challenges. To reinforce these skills, I assign targeted, personalized homework that I review before each session. I also dedicate lesson time to addressing misconceptions and maintain a detailed tracker to monitor student progress.

I am using the learning space platform BitPaper, which gives us access to an online whiteboard and video/audio interaction.

All my lessons are geared towards developing skills and building confidence.

I also offer Buddy-up lessons. I’ve seen that learning with a friend is a great way to encourage interaction, engagement, and ultimately perform well.
