I know how difficult it can be to find a reliable teacher who is able to motivate and guide students to success. As an experienced Maths Tutor and Teacher, I can identify students’ problem areas and work with them in positive, constructive ways to achieve success. I design my lessons according to my students’ needs, with an emphasis on confidence-boosting activities.
During my lessons, I first introduce the lesson objectives, followed by gauging the student's knowledge before dealing with the new material in a simple way based on student's prior knowledge. I enhance and deepen understanding and build confidence in the new knowledge by working on instructive reinforcing exercises. I set homework at the end of each lesson and discuss marked homework at the start of the next one, using it to emphasise the areas that require improvement. At the same time, I keep track of student's progress using RAG scoring based on their homework results.
