Hello I'm Tania and I'm a dedicated and approachable private tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in helping students reach their full potential. Having recently completed my A-levels, I understand the challenges students face during GCSE preparation and how important it is to have the right support, guidance and encouragement, all of which I can help with. I achieved an A*/Distinction in Applied Science and understand the level of knowledge, preparation and exam technique needed to achieve strong results, build confidence and perform well. As a tutor, I focus on making lessons clear, engaging and productive, adapting my teaching methods to suit each student's ability, learning style and individual goals. My approach combines structured lessons, carefully prepared resources, exam-style questions and detailed feedback, all tailored to the students needs. I place particular importance on understanding the reasoning behind answers rather than simply memorising information. I also help students recognise their weaknesses, build effective revision habits and develop the confidence to approach unfamiliar questions independently. I understand that every student learns differently, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Whether a student needs help strengthening their foundations, improving their exam technique, building confidence or aiming for the highest grades, I tailor my lessons to help them make consistent progress. My goal is to help every student feel more confident in their abilities, develop a positive approach to learning and achieve results they can be proud of.
