My lessons are carefully structured to be supportive, creative, and inclusive, ensuring that every learner feels engaged and valued. I begin with starter activities and retrieval/recall tasks to strengthen prior knowledge, before introducing new content through clear explanations, scaffolding, and differentiated tasks that adapt to all abilities. Using the “I do, we do, you do” model, students progress from guided practice to independent application, with stretch and challenge opportunities to deepen knowledge for gifted and talented learners. Lessons incorporate interactive learning, where I provide feedback, next steps, and hyper-personalised support, ensuring continuous progress not only in grades but also in confidence and clarity of understanding. Plenaries consolidate learning, while extension activities and homework tasks prepare students for the next lesson. I blend challenge-based learning with collaboration between myself and classroom teachers, creating a seamless hub of support. Above all, I am a good listener, attentive to students’ SEMH development, fostering resilience, curiosity, and a safe environment where every learner can thrive academically and personally. Additionally, I incorporate adaptive strategies that respond to evolving classroom dynamics, encourage peer collaboration, and embed opportunities for reflection. By combining creativity with structure, I ensure lessons are not only academically rigorous but also personally meaningful, equipping students with the skills, confidence, and mindset to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
