My lessons are personalised to suit each child’s individual needs, ability, and learning style. I start by understanding what they are currently learning at school, as well as any areas they find challenging, and build lessons around this to provide targeted support.

Each session is structured but flexible. We usually begin with a quick recap or warm-up activity to build confidence, followed by focused teaching on a specific topic. I use a mix of clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, worksheets, and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging and easy to understand. I also include practice questions to reinforce learning and help children feel more confident applying their knowledge independently.

I aim to create a calm, supportive, and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Building confidence is a key part of my approach, as this often leads to better progress in school.

I offer support in Maths, English, and Science for primary-aged children (4–11), including help with homework, exam preparation, and general skill-building. I also have experience working with children with additional learning needs, and I adapt my teaching style to ensure every child feels supported and able to succeed.

Parents are kept updated on progress, and I am happy to suggest ways to support learning at home if needed.
