Nurturing confidence and Supporting success, tailored support for every child

I am a friendly, patient, and supportive tutor who is passionate about helping children build confidence and enjoy learning. I offer 1:1 tutoring for primary-aged children (5–11) in Maths, English, and Science, with experience supporting a range of abilities, including children with additional learning needs.

My sessions are personalised to suit each child’s individual needs and learning style. I take the time to understand what they are currently learning at school, as well as any areas they may find challenging, and plan lessons to support and strengthen their understanding. Each session is structured but engaging, typically including a recap, clear explanations, interactive activities, and practice questions to build both skills and confidence.

I aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. As well as improving academic ability, I focus on building self-confidence and a positive attitude towards learning. I am also happy to support with homework, exam preparation, and general skill development, while keeping parents updated on their child’s progress.
