My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and academic goals. I create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities. Lessons typically begin with a review of previous learning, followed by targeted teaching, guided practice, and independent activities to reinforce understanding. I use a variety of teaching methods, including interactive discussions, practical examples, educational games, and exam-style questions where appropriate, to keep students motivated and actively involved. As a qualified Primary School Teacher with experience teaching across KS1 and KS2, I have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and the challenges students may face. I regularly assess progress and adapt my approach to ensure lessons remain effective, helping students strengthen key skills in English, Mathematics, and other core subjects while developing confidence and a positive attitude towards learning! As a qualified Primary School Teacher with experience teaching across KS1 and KS2, I have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and the academic expectations for children at different stages of their education. My experience has enabled me to support students with a wide range of abilities, including those who require additional support as well as those seeking extra challenge and enrichment. I have successfully helped pupils improve their reading, writing, spelling, grammar, comprehension, mathematics, and overall study skills.

Building confidence is a key part of my teaching approach. Many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they lack confidence in their own skills. I work hard to create a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and celebrating their progress. I believe that positive reinforcement and constructive feedback play an important role in helping children develop resilience and a growth mindset!
