Hi! My name is Sylwia. I am a native Polish speaker, proficient English speaker and an elementary German speaker. I have lived in the UK for 13 years now.
I am a qualified teacher, I have a bachelor's degree in English Philology and the TEFL certificate - I teach English as a second language.
I teach online, both, Polish and English at elementary, intermediate and advanced level.

I enjoy teaching people of all ages. My approach to teaching is ambiguous. I understand that we are all different when it comes to our goals, needs or even personalities, therefore, I prefer to discuss the structure lesson during a trial session.
I will adapt to your needs and learning goals whether it's improving your grammar, vocabulary or communication skills.

As no one enjoys being judged, marked or corrected, I aim to create a positive and safe environment for my students, where pointing mistakes out create a chance to develop rather than feeling embarrassed. I like the idea that learning is a social process, therefore our interaction is crucial to the learning process. I am also a very patient and understanding person.

Finally, my experience. I taught English in a primary school after graduating. Later, having lived in the UK I've had a chance to tutor people from different countries - both English and Polish. Always discussing your needs first and then adjusting and setting goals together. I am looking forward to getting in touch with anyone who wants to start learning Polish or English.
