Syeda Ainee Ali

Syeda Ainee Ali brings a rare combination of scientific rigor and learning design expertise to her tutoring practice. She holds a Master's degree in Learning Design and Technologies from Arizona State University's Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College (Summa Cum Laude, 4.0 GPA), along with a Master's in Physics from Quaid-e-Azam University, one of Pakistan's leading public universities.

Her teaching journey began at Michigan State University's Upward Bound program, where she used hands-on STEM activities to prepare first-generation, low-income high school students for college success. She went on to teach 3D printing, laser cutting, and Arduino microprocessor projects at the Arizona Science Center, sparking her passion for designing better learning experiences.

As an instructional designer, Ainee has transformed complex subject matter into engaging digital courses for organizations across the U.S. and Pakistan — including Fueling Brains, where she built interactive curricula for school districts, and LUMSx (LUMS's online learning platform), where she led development of an "Introduction to Data Science" course grounded in evidence-based multimedia learning principles.

Her academic work includes award-winning projects such as SolarWind, a self-charging device concept for underserved communities that won ASU's Smart City Challenge, and immersive learning concepts like "Forbidden Journey of a Photoelectron."

For Ainee, physics isn't just a subject — it's a lens for understanding the world, and she brings that same clarity and curiosity to every tutoring session. She's especially passionate about working with students from diverse and marginalized backgrounds, helping them build confidence, think critically, and see complex ideas from new angles
