- The Diagnostic Start: We always begin with a quick, 5-minute warm-up or review of what we did last time to ensure the foundations are rock solid.
The Core Concept: I break down complex topics—whether it's fractions or A-Level integration—into simple, bite-sized steps using clear visuals and real-world analogies.

- Interactive Practice: We tackle problems together. First, I demonstrate; then, we co-pilot; finally, you fly solo. I love using an interactive digital whiteboard so we can both write, sketch, and spot mistakes in real time.

- The “Wrap-Up”: We finish by summarising the key "takeaway" rules and mapping out exactly what you need to practise before our next meet.

With multiple years of experience guiding students through GCSEs, A-Levels, and school entrance exams, I know exactly where the common pitfalls are and how examiners think. More importantly, I know that maths anxiety is real. My lessons are a completely judgement-free zone where mistakes are celebrated as clues that show us exactly how to improve.

Maths is such a unique subject such that everyone processes it differently, so there is absolutely no pressure to rush. We will tailor the pacing entirely to you—whether we need to slow things down to pull a tricky concept apart piece by piece, or accelerate the speed to stretch and challenge you.
