I have been teaching University level students for two years now, prior to which I was practicing law. I like to understand what the aim of the student with the session is - do they want to do well in exams, pass a course, just understand something tricky or write an assignment - and I arrange my sessions that way. I use a presentation to teach and I share all materials with the students. For 'heavier' courses like Jurisprudence, I like to teach them using political and social events - and a lot of pop culture. I teach EU law similarly too - using current events. I enjoy courses that border between law and sociology/anthropology. Apart from law, my Master's degree is a specialisation in gender studies and I do teach some gender and law based courses - since these vary between Universities, it may depend on what the student wants to learn.
