Subash Rana

I am a professional drummer and music educator with over a decade of experience in performance, recording, and teaching. Music has been a central part of my life since 2010, when I began my journey as a heavy metal drummer. Over the years, I have developed not only strong technical ability but also a deep passion for sharing knowledge and inspiring others through music.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Popular Music Performance (Drums) from BIMM London, where I gained valuable insight into modern performance practices as well as effective teaching methods. My background includes performing at major festivals, touring, recording EPs and full-length albums, and working with bands in both Nepal and the UK. These experiences have helped shape my professionalism, discipline, and adaptability as a musician.

Alongside my performance career, I have extensive experience as a drum tutor. I have taught students of different ages and skill levels, both privately and in structured school environments. I pride myself on being patient, encouraging, and highly motivating, with the ability to keep students engaged and committed over long periods of time. I tailor my lessons to suit individual goals, whether students are learning for enjoyment, skill development, or performance.
