About me

My lessons are structured, interactive and adaptable to learners from secondary school through to adult education. Each lesson begins with a brief review to assess prior knowledge, clarify objectives and agree on goals for the session. This ensures content, pace and teaching methods suit the learner’s level and learning needs.

My lessons are structured, interactive and adaptable to learners from secondary school through to adult education. Each lesson begins with a brief review to assess prior knowledge, clarify objectives and agree on goals for the session. This ensures content, pace and teaching methods suit the learner’s level and learning needs.
Lessons are delivered live online and follow a student-centred format. I combine clear explanations with guided questioning, discussion and short activities to maintain engagement. Complex biological concepts are broken down using diagrams, real-world examples and step-by-step reasoning. Adult learners benefit from added emphasis on application, relevance and critical thinking, while younger learners receive strong foundational support.
Content can be aligned to GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and equivalent international curricula, as well as general biology for personal interest or professional development. Topics include cell biology, genetics, human systems, ecology, evolution, and environmental science. Exam-focused lessons include past-paper practice, mark scheme analysis and targeted revision strategies.
I use digital tools such as slides, videos, simulations and interactive whiteboards to support different learning styles. My training in science education and experience with diverse learners allows me to adjust explanations, provide scaffolding and challenge advanced students appropriately.
Overall, my lessons are supportive, organized and engaging. I aim to build confidence, strengthen biological understanding, improve academic performance and foster curiosity about the living world across all ages. Lessons remain flexible, respectful and inclusive, encouraging questions, independent thinking and steady progress while creating a safe learning environment where learners feel supported and motivated through clear communication consistently.
