GCSE Physics is where I really learned to love physics, with the introduction of forces and figuring out how to follow through with calculations on a system. Then carrying this over to A Levels with more complex systems really intrigued me. I would love to take the subjects students are struggling with and teaching in my own way how to break it down into it's fundamental parts. I would create challenge questions, see their approach, then give feedback and explain exactly why it works this way.
I believe the best way to learn is by learning how to apply the skills into the real world. I would make sure to create engaging scenarios depending on their age range which I would expect them to find intriguing, for example if they are a teenager I expect them to have interests in sports or video games. If you would like this to be more specific to your child you can message me with more information so I can truly have them feeling interested with the topic and giving it a proper thought.
My top priority is making sure any goals set out are fully achieved, I will not feel content until the student is at a point where they feel confident with how to explain exactly what is going on in the topic and they can comfortably answer questions at an exam level. We will be slowly working up from easier examples until we get to a level where we can try with existing exam questions depending on the student's level of education.
